This is a part of the Simple Furniture Series, students can register for the courses individually or for all classes at a discount. In this three class series, students will learn hand tool basics, build a wooden mallet and finish by building a stool or table.

The mallet is at the heart of many crafts, especially when working with wood and softer stones. In this class you will select from some wood options (or you can bring your own material) and turn it into a custom mallet which you can take home for personal projects or bring back to use in our Timber Framing, Furniture Making, or Stone Relief Carving Classes! No woodworking experience is needed and all materials and tools will be provided.

Materials: All materials and tools will be provided through the material fee. Students are welcome to bring any wood for the project and tools / ppe.
